Sometimes I just find animals that I fall in love with around the world!

Here are a few! 

 

 

Key Biscayne Beach Bum. Went to the public beach just over the K.B. Bridge. it is where all the windsurfers go and low and behold! it is a dog friendly beach! This little lady just walked right up and hung with me for about 20 minutes. Then she moved right next to us and passed out!

This horse I met while shooting a commercial in Israel. She was ridden by a selfish young boy, probably about 12 or 13. It was so hot that day and the boy kept riding the horse up and down stairs in the old part of town… The horse seemed wired and was hot and bothered. I walked up to the boy and ordered him to dismount the horse and I got the horse some water… She took it happily. Then as I am normally Allergic to horses and need to take an allergy pill, for some reason, this horse nudged right up to me and put her head in my arms and I did not itch once… She stayed there for a few minutes while I pet her… I did not want to let her go. I asked the translator to tell the boys, that we are only as good as we are by the level at which we respect our animals… that they should slow down and be nicer… They claimed they would be but I doubted there insincere looks… I am sure they thought I was nuts…

I will never forget this beautiful grey… I suppose she won’t forget me either…

I gave her a little more water and let the boy take her away from me… as they both walked away, I prayed for that horse…

This is Howard, a cattle ranching horse that could not have been nicer. Loved by its owners, you could tell he was happy. He let me pet him and nudge him as most horses are very social and sincere animals… He lives in the Central Valley..

This was a stray dog hanging in Cusco, Peru. He was totally cool. I try not to pet dogs too often, as they can be testy… He was pretty cool though, I did not really bother him actually.
